Milo Tacheny

During the day, I work as an industrial product designer and business operations leader, and by night I channel my creativity into media production. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Product Design and a Graduate Minor in Human Factors and Ergonomics at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. As a non-binary outdoor gear enthusiast, I am dedicated to designing gender-inclusive outdoor gear that go outside traditional gender norms.

I’ve spent the last ten years in business operations, retail, and healthcare. My return to academia is driven by a passion to deepen my understanding of the intricate relationship between humans and well-designed products. I earned my Bachelor's degrees in English and Visual Arts with a focus on photography from the University of Minnesota in 2014.

Beyond academia, I create media that spotlights innovative gear, aiming to empower others to feel confident in their outdoor pursuits.
